hoorah for our reject party. 2.9 gpa for comm - kind of an obvious reject. I think my ECs and essays were decent and i hear Cal is sometimes generous in looking at those. Also applied to rhetoric which is in the humanities dept which is supposed to be easier, or so I've heard.

Chang, that must be why you were rejected: the missing prereqs.

No, I was rejected because of UCLA's tufts syndrome.

Rejected!

Sort of relieved... because according to the either/or theory, you usually get only one or the other, Cal or UCLA. And I don't care about LA...

Cal on the other hand... I'll cry really hard if I'm rejected. I'm sure.

Hey chang: I would definitely call them if I were you and make sure it wasn't a mistake--you seem like too strong of a candidate to be rejected. If that doesn't work, I would go for an official appeal so they can at least look at your app again. Good luck

DealMaster - I'll wait until Cal releases decisions. I don't want to get ahead of myself. If Cal accepts me, there's nothing that UCLA can offer me to get me to step foot on that campus, be it cars, hoes, and monies.
