warrior: Isn't there some kind of appeal you can do showing that your dad will be retiring and will be making less money. I would look into that.

I talked to a couple Fin. Aid offices and they said they'd need to see proof..and well...until he retires, there really isn't a way I could show that.

edit: But with that said, I still plan on talking to the fin. aid office at the schools I get into (waiting to hear from berkeley) some more and seeing if there's any way to squeeze out a few dollars. thanks for the advice.

Calgrant doesn't appear on mine, eventhough I applied to calgrant on time. Anyone know if they are still processing that or is it already in the gift aid?

They have their own method of calculating financial aid. I have no idea how it works. At some schools I got the cal grant at some I didn't. I got 19k in aid from UCLA but no pell grant? Which is weird.
