uc to berkeley transfer stats...help?

I have been looking forever for some stats. Acceptance rate was like 30ish% last year for transfers, and only 13% if you came from a 4 year school. Well I know the rate is much higher than 13% transferring from a uc. Anyone been able to find any data on this? That would be much appreciated.

I believe it's more difficult to transfer from UC -> UC as compared to from a CC -> UC.

Also, it depends on the major you are applying for.

ok, well mathematics, which has a strangely high acceptance rate. and yes i know it's lower transferring from a uc to uc than from cc, but i guarantee it's not 13% low.

for example (since ucla is kind enough to give tons of data) i know 40ish% were admitted from cc last year, and only 18% from 4 year schools.

but 30ish% from uc campuses were admitted.

so i'm guessing that correlates to about 25% acceptance rate to berk from uc campuses.

but that's why i'd like to know if there are any real stats out there, instead of trying to pull numbers outta my ass.

I'd suggest calling the mathematics department and asking them your specific questions. In this case you will get the right answers. Goodluck
