lol I just play casually but I've been playing since I could coordinate properly with my fingers. Love video games!

hours spent gaming a week: Around 5-7
hours spent studying a week: 10...ish. I'm including homework and reading into this too.
favorite games: Halo series, F.E.A.R, Super Mario, Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale, Guild Wars, Legacy of Kain
major/gpa: 3.7 English

I like games with really in-depth stories, mostly. Any suggestions?

Hm,
1. have a ****ty laptop so you can't install any games. I couldn't resist and tried to install WoW a while back, but well, I had like 10 frames per second, unplayable... Ahh, I really miss playing, I should try CS.
2. girlfriend

I didn't finish high school, didn't go to class because of gaming, so I basically never studied for my whole life until I went to my CC. That's why studying is fun for me now. Also, I'm working at my CC and I can sometimes do homework while I'm working so it's not too bad.

I was a Software QA Tech III for a couple of different video game companies, working between 12 and 36 hour shifts and averaging 90-100 hrs per week; however, I no longer have the desire to play.

Those of you who are gamers and are planning on coming to Cal, I highly recommend a new sociology class here (soc 167) call "soc of virtual communities" this is the first semester of it being taught at Berkeley kind if as an experiment, but it is going so well that they are expanding funding and will be offering it for the next two years so if you get a chance, check it out. Most of the students in this class are gamers so they have allot in common.

luvtoolearn: Do you have to pay for the class since it's an experiment?
