Those still "pending" at UCLA...

I spoke to someone in admissions at UCLA today regarding my still pending admittance decision. They said that since I updated my application somewhat recently that it was still under review and I should find out my decision by Monday! If anyone else is in a similar situation, it looks like Monday is our day...finally!

How did you update it? by e-mail?
bc I did the same thing probably at mid-march
and monday,,you mean may 5 ?? That is crazy!

Yeah, I updated around mid March too via e-mail. The update was prompted by a question that I received from a UCLA admissions officer regarding my application.

I updated at the beginning of April. Is it a good sign that our applications are still pending? Do you think we have any chance? I wonder what the admission statistics are from past years regarding people pending after April 30th? My fingers are crossed X

I'm still waiting, the message has been changed though,,

I saw the 2006 threads.. some people waited until 15th, May

and they rejected or admitted..

Is there any other people still waiting for UCLA??

I'm glad I saw this thread, it felt like I was the only one waiting. I hope that we don't have to wait that long; it's not even about UCLA. I want to know where I'm gonna go and start planning. Well anyway, to the few people who are still waiting I hope our decisions come in soon.

ADMITTED to UCLA!!! URSA has finally updated and at long last I see the SIR saying "Accept or decline your offer of admission!" The admissions site hasn't updated yet, but check URSA! Good luck everyone!

Congrats SDStudent! I looked mine hasn't been updated, looks like more waiting for me.

cs13372004: Most people have already got their decision but like enziemn mention above people in 2006 and 2005 have waited as far as May 15th for a decision. I can't imagine the situation being any better this year seeing as they get more applications each year but hopefully none of us have to wait that long.

Hang in there you guys! The person that I spoke to in admissions said we all should know by Monday; but you're right, some people waited until mid-May last year, so STAY POSITIVE!
