Einna,
yes I am going to Cal for sure. I'm so excited. I hear their comm program is really good from friends who know friends that are pursuing the same major. The UCLA rejection killed me, but getting into Cal eased my dissappointment. Where are you going?

hi im thinking of applying to transfering to CAL this fall. For the English Prerequisit. Does it look bad if I take it after Fall, like in the winter or spring, and so they won't see my english grade since i don't think i can pull off a A in english. Or it doesn't matter when i take my english as long as i finish all my prerequisite by Sping. Thanks!!

haha, I took both of my organic chemistry classes (pre-reqs for my major, which I didn't think I would get that great of grades in) and my english pre-req during the spring. so basically, you should be fine.

I'm not sure if it will hurt your chances at admission but I know that it looks better if you take it before you apply. Either in the extra forms they ask you to fill out or the regular application they ask you if you have already fulfilled the English and math requirements. If you haven't, they want to know that you're planning on taking it and how you plan on succeeding in the class. Probably because so many people take those classes in their last semster in fail.

I'm an intercampus transfer, and i'm taking my english prereq class now, so i dont think it really matters when you take it.
