Yup, everyone and their mother wanted UCLA/UCB

I wanted UCD/UCSD, i got UCSD. I'll see you chumps there in the fall. Also, i'm avoiding the rush and getting my apartment there before all of you!

Applied to Cal: rejected (might be submitting appeal w/ the help of one of my professors)

Wish I'd applied to UCLA...

Accepted @ UCSD - will most likely be going there

TheCaliforniaLife - sorry I didn't see your message sooner. My Irvine decision was based somewhat on cost - I got Regents and pretty much a full ride. I also like the Literary Journalism major - seemed more practical and worth it than Rhetoric at Cal. The city is safer and cleaner, and campus housing is cheaper. Several more factors too... I didn't like majors at UCLA and I didn't like the no-housing at UCSD. The only tough one to decline was Cal, but I'm glad with my decision and really excited to start Irvine summer classes.
