esl grades hurt my transfer chance ?

Well, I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I have got 2 Cs & 2 Bs in my first semester. Now my overall GPA -except esl- is about 3.6 and it's all right with me, however I'm afraid ESL grades hurt transfer chance.

And besides, all the grades including ESL have printed when I have tried to check my transcript on college website... I'm really apprehensive about this.

If someone has any opinion, please tell me.
thanks...

ESL doesnt transfer to any UC and is not calculated into your gpa. only transferable courses make up your UC GPA

I think ESL is separated from accumulated GPA.

ESL will hurt you when it comes time for grad school though ... my husband has first hand experience with this when it came to LSAC
