Anyone else get the UCLA Scholarship Recognition Award today in mail?

I went out and grabbed my mail today to see if I received my Berkeley envelope (which I did...woot!), but I also had another 8.5 x 11 envelope, but this was another one from UCLA different than the one I got from them last week.

Inside was a pretty nice "award" that actually looks like a diploma. The enclosed letter had praise for my hard work, accomplishment, etc....you know. But the diploma looking award was actually pretty sweet.

Anyway, I get the feeling that items like these are mainly designed to sell you on attending that particular school (I had a 2nd one from UCSB as well today, for a total of three 8.5 x 11 UC envelopes in one day).

Anyone else get the UCLA envelope today?

I got the 2nd UCSB and the UCLA award today. For those of you who got the award, what were your GPAs?

Is that the thing for the scholarship recognition award? I got one too. Free money's a pretty sweet way to sell you on a school, I think. ;P

Should I be worried that I don't have mine yet? I'm showing an amount on ePal, though.

Didn't get one. But I got a call for an invite. He also asked me if I received the letter. Don't worry rshaan. It's probably on its way to your mailbox.

Damn. I was going to pick UCLA over Cal because of the far better aid package, but if they take away the Scholarship, I might as well go to Cal instead

Why do you think they'd take it away?

Well, it's noted in my ePal, but I haven't gotten the letter yet. Also, I updated my FAFSA and my Expected Family Contribution went up (even though my parents still aren't helping me out with college costs, haha).

I don't know. I guess I'm just paranoid

You're fine fasterfirefox. It was just something trying to sell people on attending the campus. It had nothing to do with being accepted/rejected/whatever.
