UCB Foreign Language Requirement

Hey everyone,

I will be applying to UCB next year and had a quick question regarding the foreign language requirement.

In high school, I took two years of Spanish and unforunately received a C both years.

Haas requires that you take a third year which I plan to take at my CCC.

Will they be taking the previous C's into consideration?

I know they have you turn in your high school transcript.

Thanks in advance!

what i heard is that as long as the grades for the individual semesters aren't below a c, and your grade in the class over all isn't below a c, you're fine.

cheers.

So does that mean he gets to jump right into Spanish 2 in CC?

If you transfer with over 60 units, then the UCs will not take high school grades into consideration.
