Do they offer a frat/soror type houses for rent? We can save a bundle if there was such a place--4 rooms, 3 baths, living room, dining, etc.

i am not certain if i am going to pick CAL but if i do i will probably live off-campus...
i prefer to live on-campus but i don't want to share a room (most likely i will not end up getting a single) so if i don't find a safe studio or 1bdrm apt in my budget thats close to campus... i would not mind sharing a 2-4bdrm apt or house

i feel a little bit strange listing myself like some newspaper roommate ad, but here it goes:

19/female
i'm neat
very friendly & social
health nut
budget: ???-1000
roommate preference: any gender, just must be trustworthy, fun, and somewhat neat

send me a message if you wanna room

Hongda,

Would you want to buy a house or a condo? Depending on the type of place, you can spend anywhere between 200k and 2M.

I'm from the bay and I'm pretty sure you can't find anything to buy in Berkeley for 200k even in the worst parts.

I have a real estate property in China. I don't know whether I should sell it and buy one here or do something else...

The market is still pretty bad here. From an investment standpoint, I would probably wait a year or two before considering.

I'm not trying to rag on you Pooperscooper but I'm pretty sure that condo on craigslist was in the ghetto. My friends lives a few blocks over and there are shootings, theft, etc constantly. Just the other day their was a drive by. Plus, it's almost two miles from campus. Uphill I believe. At least it looks nice on the inside though. I did say that you couldn't find 200k in the worst parts though and you did.
