no, i'm actually NOT looking forward to PS 3 at all. statistics is certainly NOT why i'm interested in political science. PLUS, as a poli sci major at UCLA, i was able to take stat 10 with honors and have that qualify for my statistics requirement for PS majors... NOT the case with cal. But i'm taking the us. history course (my only other requirement as well) over the summer at a CC to get it out of the way and to focus on upper divisions.
I personally really LIKE the quarter system and will miss it. I liked the pace, it kept me on my toes, and if you aren't into a class, at least you only have to suffer through for 10 weeks. it should be an interesting adjustment, to say the least. |
