| Yes, you probably can. I am at a four year oos school and technically only took a year of UC transferrable credit here, but I had lots of IB/AP tests that helped out, and I got into UCB. I think typically the UCs award you 4 semester units for each AP test with a score of 3 or above. Just make sure you have all of your pre-reqs done and you have the minimum amount of semester/quarter units.
As you are saying, it is convenient because you can either play the AP credit for or against you. So if you do want to stay three years after transferring, the AP transferrable credit won't cause you to exceed the limit of semester units you are allowed to take at a UC. |
