UCB Haas Transfers Choosing Housing

I'm a CC transfer to Haas. I was wondering which residency halls other CC transfers to Haas are considering. I'm liking the proximity (to Haas) of Unit 1, but I am not familiar with any of the units. I've seen them from the outside, but that's about it. Any advice? Has anyone heard about the positives and negatives about Units 1, 2, and 3?

I'm at Unit 2 Wada apartments (its a block farther south than Unit 1 - about a 6 minute walk to Sproul Plaza.) The apartments are nice because they are restricted to upper-division and transfer students. (you'll still have to have a roommate though). Apartments have a kitchen, common area and in-suite bathroom /shower (1 shower stall/1 toilet). Pricey but at least there is a cleaning service 1 a week.

I'm actually not sure. I'm living here right now, I don't remember how I was notified. I'll be at Channing Bowditch Apartments next year. I would contact the housing office to see. If you're in Wada bring a lot of posters 'cause there is concrete everywhere in these rooms (even the ceiling is concrete). It makes it a bit drab. I bought a full spectrum desk lamp to offset the greyness.

Guardianangel: I'm joking....loosen up.

I edited this post because I feel that some if it may have been offensive, even though I was just joking

i understood it as a joke...don't worry....if that gets someone uptight, just wait till he/she gets to ucb- he/she will flip the freak out....anyways, classes may require a treck, but i'll be sure to plan ahead...i plan on majoring also in religious studies, so those classes may be nowhere near haas and my housing strategy will be shot....oh by the way, i got unit 2 for the summer...kinda far...i'm hoping for unit 1 for fall/spring
