ucla drop class

has anybody asked ucla if dropping a class will affect their admissions?

my particular class to drop doesnt fulfill any requirements, i took it for fun but its a lame class...

Let them know that you dropped it ASAP! or else they might take away your admission. I ended up dropping my math class (teacher was crazy and completely garbage, I wished I would have listened to everyone that warned me), and now my application is under a re-review.

I remember seeing a thread earlier than said dropping a class wouldn't affect your admissions decision, but I'm not 100% sure.

no worry as long as you stand over 60 units and the class dropped doesn't affect to complete the igetc or pre-req.
I was in the same boat as mobilemayhem but I had no problem. just report the change and get relaxed

So lets say you fail a class during the spring that would have put you over 60. Can you make it up during the summer?

LOL uc4me -- NO failing (im pretty sure ) the contract says u gotta pass w/ c or greater
