Would UCLA rescind my admission?

I've recently got admitted to UCLA for fall08 as a transfering student from CC,
but there is a serious problem
I think I will recieve a grade of "D" or "F" for my political science class.
(but it has nothing to do with my major tho.)

I've had some Fs before and retook it for an A.
So I was going to try if I could pass the class and if I couldn't,
I was just going to retake it in the summer.

But I've heard that UCs only consider my grades upto Spring Semester...

Am I screwd?

Ps. I think I could get As or Bs for my other classes which I'm currently taking.
(btw, I applied for Credit/Non-Credit for Political Science class even tho it wouldn't matter that much)

lol I didn't even notice the spelling error, that's even worse!

endic...will you still have 60 or more UC transferrable courses by the end of this spring semester without that class? If so, you might be ok since this class is not needed for your major. Definitely call them as soon as possible!

yeah, I've finished 60 or more UC tranferrable courses already!
grades didn't come out yet,
so I think I should call them ASAP after all the gradings are done!

Yeah, if you have already completed 60 units then this should have little to no effect on your admission. Good luck!

Why are you receiving such a poor grade anyways? Are there extenuating circumstances that affected your performance in this class? (i.e. family emergency, illness, etc.) If so, you might be able to get around it. BTW, if you knew you were receiving a poor grade in the course, why didn't you just drop it? A "W" looks better than an "F" on your transcript anyday. Here are your only options:

#1: Are you absolutely sure you will not pass? Talk to your teacher and see if it is possible to re-take an exam, do an extra assignment, etc. Basically try ANYTHING you can!

#2: If you do receive this grade, contact the school as soon as possible and let them know. Play up any type of extenuating circumstance you have...anything! Also, stress the fact that it is not a required course that you actually need.

#3: Even if they do rescind your application, you might be able to appeal it. Just be persistent! Good luck!
