So what happens if I don't get a UCLA Parking Permit?

I'm gonna be working during the school year and will live on campus.

Are there streets or other places where I can find parking?

one thing is check ebay and craigslist , sometimes there are parking passes at inflated prices.

there is some street parking but it is not always close to the dorm

worst case scenario you will pay 9$/day

parking in westwood is a nightmare. the westside in general is a congested nightmare. id think hard about leaving the car and figuring out public/alternate transportation.

If you don't get a permit, just sell your car.

1 problem solved, 10 more created.

I'm not sure when sign ups start, but the deadline for turning in a parking application is July 25th.
