UCLA summer parking

I applied for a summer parking permit. I chose the option to receive the permit in the mail. It's been over a week now and I am becoming worried. How long does it take for one to receive permits in the mail?

did you get the e-mails?

"Summer parking permits were scheduled for pick up today however, due to a late shipment from our vendor the pick up date has been moved to Monday 6/16/08. You can come into our office beginning today and receive a temporary permit which will allow you to begin parking on Monday 6/16/08. If you requested your permit to be held for pick up the temporary permit you receive will be valid from 6/16/08 to 6/20/08. If you requested your permit to be mailed and you need to begin parking on 6/16/08 please come into our office to receive your temporary permit. The temporary permit you receive will be valid from 6/16/08 to 6/24/08.

We will contact you via email when the actual permits are ready for pick and mailing.

Please contact us at 310 825 6918 with any questions."

i just hope they don't mail them to me when i'm not at HOME. that's what i need to figure out, if that's the case then i need to go get my temp parking pass and go pick up my summer pass while i am on campus.

i take it are you going to be on campus during the summer?

ok, i just got my pass and i have no idea what to do. i'm guessing i take the sticker and put it ON the plastic hangtag. But what's with the yellow card? do i have to swipe myself into parking lots?

it also said that you can not cross park in lot 11 during certain times. my lot IS lot 11, so i'm assuming that i can park there all the time. however, does this mean i can park in any other lot? the yellow card tells me i can't...

i just don't want to screw anything up and get a ticket! -_-

maybe this is a test to see if you can come to UCLA. if it is, i am clearly failing, lol.

park in lot 11 at any time.

Yellow card? - not sure, they were white when i went there. they are the cards you swipe to enter the parking structure.

You get 3 things- sticker, clear thingy to stick sticker onto, and a credit card sized but thick access card to scan in order to open the bar to the parking structure.
