2 major choices w/o tap?

Is it possible?
I'm going to be fulfilling the pre-reqs for both UCLA - biz econ and econ however I don't think I'd be able to get into biz-econ with my GPA, but I at least would like to try. Is it possible for me to apply to both as I'd have pre-reqs done for both majors (since they are almost identical) w/o TAP?

no and not necessary anyways.

You can change within the ECON department if you are accepted into one of their majors.

SO if you get into ECON you can change into BizEcon once at ucla.

There is no choice of alternate major however, that is the big perk of TAP.
