Dropping CLass with/without "W"

What does that mean? Is a W bad or something?

A W just means you withdrew. If you drop without a W, then there won't be a W on your transcript. It's not really a big deal either way, but dropping with a W usually means you weren't expecting to get an A or B (or even pass)

I had a lot of W's, which kept my GPA up but increased the time I had to stay at my CCC...

w's are a great way to go if you are not going to be able to fully commit to a class for whatever reason. theres kids on here that got into big time schools with MANY w's.

They just cross out the Ws when looking over your app.
