| Honestly you can just take internships to make up for going to a school that is less "prestigious." GPA is one important aspect, but if you have experience it is even better. GPA is just a starting point, once you actually have a career, they will just look at your experience.
As for moving to Cal to save money. It depends really. Most likely you'll save money by living at home with your parents. However, the cost of tution and such are the same. With that in mind it depends how much you like each school. Go visit Cal and see how much you like the campus.
As for course load, I feel each school has a set of majors or courses that are different at every university. Just study and avoid horrible professors. |
