Cal Spring 09 admits -- Question on Transcripts

Did you guys submit your final official transcripts from your CC's?

My provisional contract says the following:

Quote:
# Complete the full IGETC general breadth pattern of courses. Request official certification from your community college and submit it with your final, official transcript or have it mailed separately to our office by January 23, 2009.
Quote:
You must submit your final official transcripts from Foothill College, and De Anza College with IGETC Certificate by the January 23, 2009, deadline.
and in an email from the admissions rep about a different subject, she wrote:

You can send all your official transcript by the January 23, 2009 deadline.
yet on my main myberkeleyapp page it says:

Quote:
If the Admissions Office still has not received your records by July 28th,
they will contact you by email.
I'm kind of worried since

a) I'm not in the country and

b) I think my CC's are closed right now

Sup poppin,

I'm a fall admit and as of today my myberkeleyapp also says "If the Admissions Office still has not received your records by July 28th, they will contact you by email."

My transcripts are already in and checked off and everything so it must be a generic message since they are probably being bombarded with phone calls by fall students.

thanks edward, that's pretty relieving to know.

I should probably expect a generic email on the 28th too then.

It wouldn't make sense for me to turn my t-scripts in early though (before january 23rd) seeing as how since I pushed some of my classes to the fall I can't even get IGETC certification yet.

if you go to foothill/de anza, then they are most definitely not closed at the moment or for at least 3 more weeks. im a spring 2009 admit too, but my admissions counselor asked for my transcripts by the deadline (july 15), and i have to send it in again before we start our first semester. call up your CC and they will send it in, but they lag pretty hard. i requested them to send it in a week before the deadline and they ended up sending it out on the 16th...

Hey poppin, I'm also a spring transfer and I have submitted all my documents so far except my AP scores (which are on the way). I spoke with my admissions rep and she just told me as long as I requested them to be sent, I wouldn't need to worry about a deadline? I hope your admissions rep clears up the confusion...
