Alcohol.edu for Transfers...

Anybody else in the process of suffering through the bad acting in alcohol.edu?

I must admit some parts have been educational, but the vast majority of it has just been bad enough to be funny (being of legal drinking age makes it even funnier).

I finished part 1 within 20 minutes, i timed myself.

I just clicked next on everything as fast as I could, if they said you clicked too fast i just log out and back in. survey stuff i just use spacebar+tab to quickly breeze through and click through entries. Final Exam is just all common sense like passing the dmv test. I can just learn what I got wrong immediately anyways so that's even better.

I think it is hilarious. I wonder how many freshmen will actually take it to heart? I know I wouldn't have at that age...

Then again, I'm really surprised at how much I missed on the intro quiz. Can you imagine being of legal drinking age plus some and failing the final exam? hahaha

it's not a highschool class, it's an online requirement prior to starting at a UC.

thatgirltoo- I was also surprised at what I missed on the intro quiz and only scored a 60%
I ended up with a 98% on the final quiz, which was much easier. I really hope these freshmen don't take it to heart, but then again I do because I think it'd be really fun to watch them act out what they're "supposed" to do in these oh so dangerous scenarios.

trebor- you completely missed out on some of the funniest/corniest videos about alcohol I've ever had the pleasure of watching. there was some thread on the UCLA forum earlier with a bunch of incoming freshmen boasting they'll "never drink blahblahblah..." and I could see how this information would be useful to them, but as most transfers are passed or near the legal drinking age, learning about "scenarios" like making sure your ****-drunk friends don't have access to their car keys is pretty useless as it is something most have already dealt with. However, some are hilarious (See: "Dan says he's going to try to get laura drunk to see if he can get her into bed" videos)

How likely are you to:

"Start drinking before going out (i.e., pre-gaming)?"

Btw, where are these answers going?

Since EITS is my new badass lover....

"You are in the library, one of the student volunteers pulls out a bottle of chilled Absinthe while putting away books. She sees you spotting her, in a rush to save her reputation she offers you a glass of the green wonder that will make you picture yourself in a boat on a river. You have a few options here: you can witness this girl have kaleidoscope eyes, blackmail her to the dean and either get money or an award from the dean and lastly knock her out and sell the bottle to the highest bidder."

alcohol.edu didn't like my submissions to their site...

Absinthe doesn't do that, it's a myth.

Not today's absinthe, but absinthe of yesteryear did.

no one can just laugh and go with the joke
this has turned into a critical analysis of the evolution of absinthe rather than a comical alcohol joke of blackmail and profit

Lol.

Anyone know where they got their statistics? Not that I'm in disbelief about the numbers they pulled up, but I'm just a bit skeptical. I'm sure alcohol use differs campus to campus. I just wish they cited their source, otherwise I just think it's petty numbers anyone could've come up with.
