Couldn't find anything on SMC's website about EOP or an honors program that Berkeley acknowledges.

Again TAP is not affiliated with any schools honors program but many of the students that are asked to join Berkeley TAP are transfer students. And TAP for Berkeley does not stand for Transfer Alliance Program it actually stands for Transfer Alliance Project.

TAP and EOP are some what affiliated as they are both run by the same people but the two programs are not the same thing. Also any information about the TAP is pretty hard to find as they do not have their website but if you do an extensive search you find quite a bit of info and remember do not use Transfer Alliance Program it is Transfer Alliance Project. Also the TAP is run out of the Center for Education Partnerships at Berkeley.

Here are just a few Quick links to show that the Berkeley TAP is real:
This link tells you all the schools that Participate in Berkeley TAP.
