Jesus H. Christ son, BBQ pits are getting you excited? You do realize those people still have to live in IRVINE?

When do apartments NOT have kitchens/living rooms? The dorms at UCI are no different from any other UC campus. CSU have better dorms.

Come on, man. UCI vs. UCLA, Los Angeles is way more fun. The campus is way more beautiful too.

ucla on campus dorms/apartments: no kitchens. period. none. nada. not even communal ones.

uci: a kitchen in the res hall to share w/ dorm mates. still better than no kitchen at all?

im just sayinggggg...

the apartments are not on campus. there are "suites" which have several rooms, a common area and a bathroom.

i think the reason many people want on-campus is so they don't have to deal with the cooking thing. that's my 2nd reason for living on campus.

UCLA-owned apartments do have kitchens, rshaan. Maybe you should put in a housing change request if you don't like Rieber Terrace?

I know Irvine is a dead city, but is it expensive to live there off-campus?

I heard if you have good connections, then its not that hard. and besides i heard its really nice off campus near the beaches, but then you need to beat the commute to get to school
