Will Colleges Know?

I'm a first year at a CC, so I still have some time before I transfer, but I have a question about my major req's.
I spoke with a UCLA rep last week and was asking him about a dilemma that I'm currently facing with calculus, one of my major req's. (I'm a business major btw, wanting to transfer to UCLA [under bus. econ], UCB, or USC)
I took calculus (150A,150B) my junior year in HS through a CSU and got C's both semesters. When I applied, I had listed calculus as an AP class on my application because "technically" according to the UC website, our school has calc listed as an AP class (even though it was taken through a CSU, which means I HAVE a transcript at the CSU...).
I asked the rep whether it was possible for me to retake the class to earn a higher grade, but he told me that I couldn't retake the course because if I did, the credits wouldn't even count.
My question is, if I don't even list calc as having taken it through another university (like what I did on my app in HS), will colleges that I apply to even KNOW? Or will they somehow find out that I have a transcript at the CSU even if I don't list the school? (Because WITH calc factored into my current GPA [I took summer classes at the CC], I only have a 3.5, and it'll take me FOREVER to bring my GPA back up.

Do NOT do that. You want to list EVERYTHING that you've done. My friend failed to list his previous school's work and after the UC's accepted him, they sent him a notice saying they found out about his prior work and his app was terminated as well as banned from the UC system.

They consider this fraud and will not hesitate to ban you from ever applying again.

Not to forget they can even find out years down the line and consider your diploma null and void. They have a system for checking up people's records even if you don't submit them manually. I don't think a slight GPA boost is worth it.

are those calc classes equivalent to the prereqs calc 1a and 1b? if they are then yeah... do ur best to raise up ur gpa and explain ur Cs in calc on the app.

I'm in the same boat. I took princp of micoecon during HS and didn't take it seriously because i didn't know it would matter and i got a B. turns out im attending a CC and that course is a major prereq for me... sucks

yeah, those calc classes are equivalent to calc 1a and 1b.
for me, i think it was that calc was just really difficult and i was taking a heavy load. (it was the only higher level math class offered at my school at the time. no AP Stats was available.)
not taking retaking calc means that I will have had to go through... 3 years of schooling without a math class. >< scary.

there has to be a way out on that

USC is still within reach
UCLA with tap i don't really see a problem.
UCB is kinda anal so... u should call and ask for any advice they can give u
