^ Should be the same.

1) What is your intended major? Discuss how your interest in the subject developed and describe any experience you have had in the field — such as volunteer work, internships and employment, participation in student organizations and activities — and what you have gained from your involvement.

2) Tell us about a personal quality, talent, accomplishment, contribution or experience that is important to you. What about this quality or accomplishment makes you proud and how does it relate to the person you are? (Same as when we were in HS)

It'd be good for us to just make those little bubble spiderweb maps/outlines over the summer like they had us do in elementary school for topics we'd consider writing about .

I feel like it's the right amount of effort for the time period without being an overachiever.
I hate those people who finish essays ridiculously early. Procrastination FTW.

Ha. Erikuh- I'm one of those people. I will probably have my essays done a good 3 months before applications are even ready to be filed!

Someone definitely needs to start the Fall 2010 CC Facebook group! As for me, I'm kind of new here on the board but I'm excited to go through the process--it seems so exciting yet nerveracking at the same time. Congrats to all who got in btw. Looking to transfer into UCLA for Comm Studies, it's gonna be tough! Anyone here from SMC?

Meeee for anthro BA which is...not as tough as Comm lol. Although judging by freshman admissions, the acceptance rate will probably decrease by a fair amount like History last year for my major. Good luck Martin!
