All of my classes are going well now. I'm just freaked out about my PoliSci 14 class. We're literally only going to have a final in there, so it'll make or break my grade. History 3, Cinema 107, PoliSci 1, and Soc 29 are all going splendid, thank Heathus.

My anthro teacher is pretty dull but she seems pretty nice, so just gotta see how it pans out! There;s some extra credit..we get to go to the zoo, so that should be somewhat interesting!

what are your guys' majors and where do you guys want to end up??!!

@sophie24
My anthro teacher offered the same extra credit to go to the zoo on your own.

I'm applying well almost everywhere.
UCB - econ
UCLA- (TAP) Biz econ
UCSD - econ:management science
UCD - managerial econ
UCI: Biz econ
UCSC: Business admin econ

I'm not sure if all be able to TAG with anywhere as I will not finish one pre req for everywhere but UCB and UCLA.

Wow! You guys are dedicated! Please stay dedicated and don't slack off...;P

When I turned in my UC application in November, I totally forgot about it until late February...and here I am!

So good luck to you all. I hope that we have given you guys some information and tips. Don't be afraid to ask either, we're here to help...[:

P.S.-Waiting is the hardest part, especially when you're waiting for UCLA/Cal. Ahh. @__@;; My advice is to strongly get away from your computer during these times. xD. But don't worry, the months literally fly by. I remember being it early April and now next week I find out whether I got into Cal or not! >__<;;

I remember 2 year's ago saying I wouldn't spend more than 2 years in CC, but here I am going on year 3...

I blame girls, it's easier than blaming myself.

I'm still waffling between PoliSci and history. 90% chance I'll declare PoliSci.

UCI, UCSB, UCLA, Berkeley. Mayyyybbeeee UCSD. I didn't apply there the first time around and I'm still not sure if I want to try the second time around.

greentea - lol! I'd hate to go to CC for 3 years. Especially because all my friends at UCLA who graduated '08 with me are rooting for me/expecting me to transfer and graduate with them. I feel like I have a lot more to lose if I don't get into LA but I'm staying optimistic!

Anyone set up their summer/fall schedules yet?
I need to take 5 honors classes by this fall (SMC rule -___-) and need to take Hon. Poli Sci 1 this summer. However, I took AP gov senior year and got a 4. Will I get 3 unit credits or 6?

Also I was thinking of taking 9 units this summer and the counselor shut me down! WTH! They were only 3 humanities courses. I've decided just to take 18 units this fall instead but need to know how to go about convincing a counselor to let me do it. Any tips for anyone who has petitioned before?

Sorry this is long.

^ I already registered for my summer classes and picked which classes I'm taking the fall. It's kind of taken my 3 years well 2.5 years it will take. I'm class of 07, but I was working full time the first fall that I didn't take any classes.
