@evan
A>B>W>D>F>C
You should also consider how dropping this class would affect your performance in other classes.

That depends on your major and where you want to transfer to.

Would it be smart for me to use the same essay as I did when I applied as a Senior in highschool?
I'm talking about the one which asks to to describe "a quality, accomplishment, ect..."
Reason is, that essay I wrote was amazing. I'm pretty sure I was rejected because of my extremely low GPA, and not that essay. I would very much like to use that essay again, but would that be risky? Do they have some sort of database that recognized repeat essays?

Hello. I'm contemplating transferring to Cal for a number of reasons, but before blowing off other options (namely study abroad) I'd like to get a basic understanding of where I stand. Please could a couple people offer their opinion on my chances of being accepted as a Berkeley transfer for Fall 2010?
Currently Attending: UCSB
Major: Chemical Engineering
GPA: 3.94
EC: Involved in a couple minor activities on campus. I've worked for the past couple years for an engineering company; creating databases, web design, various projects; attending trade shows.
I know UC-UC transfers are notoriously "iffy," particularly for engineers. I feel quite proud of what I've accomplished academically, but is it enough to overcome the CC priority? Thanks...

I'm done with everything. Just waiting for my mom to look over the app and then I'm gonna submit. It feels soo good to be done already.

Yeah, I did the application (all the filling in parts) the first day, and I'm almost done with my statements! One of mine is 740 words, the other closer to 260. I know that's alright, but it just seems so unbalanced. Are everyone else's closer to 500/500?

Sorry if this is the dumbest question EVER, but how do we get our high school transcripts? Like, can we just call and request them from our HS, or do we have to go them them or what?
Also, is anyone still working on their personal statements? I'd completely finished in October, but decided I hated them both and started over from scratch. So now I'm still finishing them up, and I'm getting really stressed out!

As far as I know, you can call them, because it would be crazy inconvenient for me (I went to HS in LA, I live in San Diego). I think you have to send a check or something along those lines. Please, someone, correct me if I'm wrong.
And yeah, I'm still trying to perfect my statements.

You don't need your high school transcripts if you're a junior level transfer.
