I am Korean-American. For the first essay prompt (describe the world you come from), is it okay to write about my bicultural background, or would it be too trite?

Its not a trick question. Writing about your bicultural background would count as your world. If not, what else would?

Since 2009 isn't even over yet, the part where you put your family's 2009 gross income should be an estimate-figure right?

@vintij
I was asking if the topic would be overused by people who have multiple cultural backgrounds, thus hurting my chances...
@lakerforever24
No I am a Martian.
Just kidding...
However, I dunno if you were being sarcastic or something (I am bad at catching sarcasms) but the "world you come from" doesn't have to be about planet earth... it could be school, club, family... even your bedroom (yes, I watched a youtube video where this speaker from UC admissions office was talking about essays).

hey i got a question... when we're updating the courses we are taking throughout this year, do we get the chance to change some courses we don't end up taking?
and where do we put down the courses we have already taken before this fall? dang i feel so dumb cuz i feel like im the only one struggling with this...

So do I list ALL the courses I've taken, even if they're not transferable?

| Snooks86, yes. You'll be listing any and all courses you've taken, whether or not they are transferable.

they should all show up, and transferable courses will have an automatic blue "CCCT" next to them

Yep. Like Estrellatuya mentioned, all classes (transferable and non-transferable) will show up on the list, but you'll know if a class is transferable or not if a small, blue "CCCT" (California Community College Transferable) message shows up next to the class. If the CCCT button doesn't show up to a class you know is UC-transferable, then you may have entered the class code incorrectly.
