| ANYONE FROM THE CENTRAL VALLEY? (Turlock/Modesto/Manteca) area???
Hey all,
I was wondering how many other people on here are from the Central Valley. I am from Turlock (currently going to Modesto Junior College) and was hoping maybe there would be some fellow students on here!!
P.S. I've applied to UC Davis, San Diego, Santa Barbara, SC, Cal, LA

pretty much, until i was 9 i lived in ceres, you know that itty bitty town between turlock and modesto. But i've lived in Tracy the last 10 years. I applied to davis, santa cruz, san diego, and santa barbara as a psych major. I really want to go to Davis though so i think that's where i'll end up. What is your major?

I'm transferring this fall, but I still have no word from the UCs I applied to. Right now I am taking Human Sexuality, History 17A, and 17B, and communication studies. Are you planning on transferring this fall as well?

thank you, as I consider myself pretty well-off not having to live in the Central Valley.

^ there is nothing there.
I have family from Modesto and besides the nice weather it's boring.

no fancy and good food. (try to get water buffalo mozzarella imported from italy in modesto), no alternative scene(like art cinemas), no useful public transportation or carsharing (although SF Muni is always late but it works), No SF MoMA or Legion of Honour.
