I found who my officer was at the bottom of the conditions for admission. It might be other places as well.

I'm probably gonna get flamed for this but....it is pathetically easy to figure out who your adviser is. Like really, really, easy.

ACTUALLY, your adviser is whoever is the adviser of your major. For instance, I am majoring in Political Science...therefore I go to the Political Science adviser. If you are having trouble finding yours, try looking for the UCB major/minors catalog and it will take you to the info...i.e. courses, general info, the adviser of the major.

Edit: What I meant to say is that you shouldn't necessarily know who your adviser is yet. You don't declare until CalSo and that is when you would normally meet them. A few others and myself have just e-mailed our advisers in advance.

He's gotta be talking about an Admissions Officer. That's all anyone has mentioned so far.

cooldude- I don't think so. He said everyone has been talking about 'advisers,' not 'Admissions Officers'

But everyone isn't talking about advisers. They are talking about admissions officers.

Well regardless, knowing how to contact your adviser is probably higher on the totem pole that know how to contact your admissions officer...idk, i've never heard of them providing any services to students (other than admittance of course )

If say "waffles" in a room full of people and they start talking about pancakes, was I talking about pancakes?
