Books Needed for Chem 20A with Scerri

Hey, does anyone know if we need (or it is suggested to have) the course reader for this class? Could I find it at the place in Westwood? Also, do we need some book that he wrote himself? I already have Principles of Modern Chemistry and the Solutions Manual that came with it. Supposedly an email was sent out about the coursereader and a book actually by Scerri, but I did not receive it. Please respond or send info to ultramarineelite@yahoo.com. Thanks.

No, don't buy his book on the Period Table of Elements.

You truly only need his course reader to get through the course, the oxtoby is good for reference but the principles of modern chem will do the same job ( no need to buy both)
