I can't decide....

For me it is between UCLA, BC, and University of Miami. Money plays a big factor into where I want to go, and in that respect I got the most from Miami and the least from BC. UCLA is bigger than BC and Miami, and really the only thing I am worried about is dealing with the bureaucracy of a public school, trying to fit in as a Colorado kid in a sea of Californians, and worrying about missing out on opportunities I would receive at a smaller school. Any advice would help greatly.....thank you.

hey man, i'm contemplating out of state too dude.. let me tell you that i am in the exzct same boat feeling that i am "different" in california. it's a risk that is worth taking or worth throwing away. I think u have to realize that it's not gonna come down to people telling u about UCLA, cause you will only hear good things except from the occasional person. It comes down to you: are you ready to try something new or not? and i am still asking myself that.

yO dude...i honestly think u can easily adapt to the "sea life" of california...there isn't much difference..

and as ur smaller school thing...My host at BLW for a UCLA overnight program told me "You can't make a small univeristy big, but you can always make a big university small" it was something like that....so yea think about it

its pretty diverse at ucla and adapting to the californian lifestyle isn't too touch. its pretty nice here and everyone is extremley open and accepting. if anything u'll love it here @ la. but consider what you're majoring in to and which school provides the opportunities.

as for la, it's easy to get lost. not on campus, but feeling lost because there are so many people.
