well in florida once u have taken a certain number of AP or dual enrollment courses, your weighed GPA just keeps on increasing. i have no idea how it really works but thats how it is in all public schools here.

lol no i mean 6.4.... it says it on my transcript...

didn't you guys read my previous post?///

there are a couple of students in my school that have gotten 6's gpas because of all the dual enrollment courses one can take.
here in florida, the vast majority of dual enrollment courses count as AP, and don't ask me how but after a certain number of weighed classes your gpa can pass the 5.0 .

Don't let the super-crazy-intense-scary over-achievers in this forum get you down: you sound like you're doing fine. Taking tough classes, a LOT of classes, getting mostly A's, no C's or lower, some EC's. I need to hear more about this project and the extent of your involvement to say anything about it helping your chances, but potentially yes, it will make you stand out.

you should figure out your uc gpa, so that people can figure out more about how your gpa compares to others.

an A- is an A, a B+ or a B- is a B, etc.

A=4.0 B=3.0 C=2.0 D=1.0 F=0
for non-AP/community college classes

for AP/community college classes, A=5.0, B=4.0, etc.

but you can only count eight, i think. after eight AP/community college classes, you have to start doing them on a normal scale.

since you're out of state, count your plain honors classes on the regular A=4.0 scale.

add them all up, divide by the total number of classes. only sophomore and junior year.
you're taking advanced math classes, i'm sure you can figure it out.

(someone correct me if i messed that up)

dude this sucks if they only count 8 ap/college courses

cause so far i have taken like 28 courses (counting high school courses) so my uc gpa is going to be super low

don't they take into account the fact that i have taken so many college courses?
