hedrick is the best residence hall.

i live in a triple there this year. the walk isn't even that bad. you get used to it.
its more social than sproul, its nicer than dykstra.
my floor is the best. hedrick is seriously so much fun!

Why switch?

Why do you want to trade into Dykstra? I thought De Neave was the less old alternative. If your still up to switching though....

I'm a 2nd year and lived in Dykstra. I loved it, except we got a triple that was on the sunny side of the building (facing towards the parking lot), which sucked during the beginning of the year because there was no AC. But, I still loved Dykstra because the people are so friendly and social. Next year I'm going to live in Sproul just because it's newer and a lot of my friends are going to live there too.

And yes, gobruins, dykstra is the closest to campus (along with some of the buildings in de neve).

to answer ur question, codeman, there is one obvious disadvantage of living in Hedrick Hall... it's pretty far from campus and you'll have to walk 2 extra flight of stairs from dykstra/de neve. however, i had lots of friends at hedrick so i think a lot of other cool freshmen will live there. it's pretty social i'm assuming, like dykstra

room swap?

Hey,

I'm a girl and I got a triple in Dykstra. I want to room swap into De Neve Plaza or Sproul Hall. Anyone want to switch during their open transfer night (oct 5 or 6), even though it's after move in? Let me know. =]
