How to sign up for classes?

I'm gonna be going to orientation soon and I guess we're gonna sign up for classes there. However, I do I decide which classes to take and which professors to pick from? Should I take hard classes first (no idea which ones they are) or the easy ones first? How can I tell which professors are good and which are not? Which times should my classes be scheduled?

I'm gonna be a incoming freshman at the Computer Science Major. What would you recommend? Example schedules?

Thanks a lot in advance.

check out bruinwalk.com for the professor ratings. Use the class planner on myucla to check out your timetable in advance.
