UCLA Honors College, now what?

Okay so like I got accepted into the Honor's College, right? And i passed a couple of AP's (not much to brag about, really) Eng Lang-3, Calc AB-3, Bio-4, Eng Lit-4. I have orientation next week. So how does this work? I mean like what classes do i sign up for? Do i like get special perks or something? I really have no idea what being part of the Honor's college means...I didn't even have a high GPA or high SAT scores. I had a shared class rank of 5. So umn, i really don't know. Anybody got anything to say?

I'm in it too. I think all you need is 44 honors credits total (by grad), and 8 first year. Don't worry about it when you sign up fall quarter, just takes classes that interest you and satisfy your major. I signed up for classes first and later found out that a GE Cluster I signed up for satisfies 15 honors credits (!) in one year.

So yeah no biggie. You can take honors classes next quarter (or whenever if you want), 8 credits isn't that much.
