UCLA Party Scene

I have heard that the party scene at UCLA is very dominant by fraternities. This being so, I was considering pledging, however recently decided not to as I feel it would be hard to maintain a strong academic profile doing so. So my question is, if you dont pledge, is it still easy to party at UCLA for guys?

Its not as if youre only allowed to party if you are in a frat. You can have parties and have fun at college without ever being in a frat. Even if a frat is hosting a party i can guarantee that more than half the people there aren't in the frat.

Basically if you want to go party it out with the frats you just need to know someone on the inside who can get you in. So as a freshmen talk to everyone and be social with your whole floor. Chances are someone on your floor is going to pledge and if you know them they're your pass to a party. Or if you are a stud, you can come as part of a group with a good ratio(more girls than guys) which is an automatic in for the party.
