calculator for Math 31A

I know this question may be trivial and could possibly be taken down after a while, but I just want to know which kind of calculator (if any) we're allowed to use at UCLA, specifically in the Math 31A course. Right now, I have a TI-83 calculator. Is that ok, or do we need a TI-89, as I've heard from some of my friends?

No calculators on math tests, at least none that I've seen. For doing homework, you can use whatever you like, but I find the solution manual is more helpful than a calculator
