McIver doesn't have sinks, but Spencer does... or at least it used to. I think you're out of luck for that.

Huh! that's odd. The rooms in McIver I've seen don't have sinks but... maybe some do?! I'm intrigued now but I don't live in Kenan anymore.

The floorplans still have sinks in all the rooms, but housing says on the website that not all rooms in McIver have sinks. That's where I'm headed next year so hopefully I'll get lucky.

honors housing/carolina scholarship

D is a freshman admitted to honors program, also got a Carolina Scholars scholarship (yeah!!). Other than a short brochure about the scholarship, she hasn't gotten anything else. Do those students get specific housing? We saw something about "pods" and weren't sure what that meant.
We never saw any dorms when there on tour. Any recommendations? Do honors freshman typically get placed in one specific dorm or all over campus?
If anybody also has any other info on the benefits of the CS scholarship we would appreciate that info too.

I don't know much either, but from what i've heard freshmen pretty much all live in south campus and it's supposed to be a really good experience. And of the four dorms there, craige is definitely the worst. But everyone says you end up loving and making friends wherever you live.

I have to reiterate cloying here- I've walked by/been in plenty of rooms in McIver and have never seen a sink! I lived in Alderman last semester, which is a carbon copy of McIver (except for the lobby area) and none of the rooms have sinks. So odd. Nevertheless, I am pretty sure the 2nd floor of McIver, which is the guys floor, don't have sinks- guess you're out of luck!

My roommate and I put Morrison first for housing, followed by Eringhaus (spelling?). I have allergies and got a doctor's note for it, so should that help with getting one of our top choices?

Probably not. I don't see how allergies would affect your building. Maybe it will get you air conditioning, i don't know.

I thought they might. Their website says they process special medical conditions (allergies, asthma, etc) that require certain housing conditions (AC) first.
