Drama Department

I know that on their website, UNC said they weren't accepting people into the Drama Program in 2009. What should students who potentially want to enter into that program in 2010 do their first year? Will they still be able to take any drama-related classes their first year, or will they have to completely wait until 2010? And also, is there any way to take on Drama as part of a double-major, or is the program too time consuming?

Hey there--not sure if you'll see this because I'm responding so late. I'm a drama major at UNC and I was wondering where it says that the drama department isn't accepting new majors next year? I haven't heard of that, but I was a little out of the loop towards the end of spring semester, so I may have missed that memo.

Also, I'm double majoring in Drama and Communications, and most Drama majors I know are also pursuing double majors. As long as you stay on top of your studies, it should be do-able, depending on what you're thinking of pursuing as a second major.
