Can I get into UCL for Archeology with a 2:2?

I have the equivalent of a 2:2 and want to go to UCL, but their admissions requirements are 2:1. My degree is from UCLA, which from what I have read counts for something despite GPA. I have also been to 5 field schools, and presented a paper at a conference. Will my experience/school count for anything or is it hopeless?

A low degree from a good university is still a low degree; I don't think having gone to UCLA will make the smallest difference to your application. I don't know if you'll get in, it is always worth applying however. Email the department and ask if a 2:2 is acceptable.
