DS will be returning on the Friday after Thanksgiving (can't miss his first Iron Bowl). Flight lands just after noon. There is no UA shuttle that day. Before we book transport back to campus, anyone know of available or shareable rides at that time?

i think you would have better luck finding a ride through the rideshare fb page where there is more traffic than on CC.

My daughter is going to post to the ride board, but I thought I'd ask here too. She needs a ride from the airport to T-town tomorrow. Her plane lands at 6:30pm. Of course, we will give gas money! Let me know if you can help. Thanks:-)

DS is back at Bama. The big guy got his own rides to and from BHM. Traveled by himself for the first time, with connecting flights, and everything went as planned. Amazing for thanksgiving weekend. It was great seeing him, but they grow up so fast.

His ride to the airport on Tuesday was with a freshman girl from NJ with her own car, very friendly competitive cheerleader. If that girl happens to "belong" to one of our readers, I thank you. Ride back to campus today was from the rideshare facebook page. Bottom line, as others have said, it is apparently quite easy to get rides.
