My younger son is a double major (chemical engineering and biology); so he's got a lot of fees, because he has a lot of labs.
He's taking 17 credits this semester; he has 6 classes (some are 1 and 2 credits); but those are also charging fees.
Here's a copy of his fees for this semester..
ARTS & SCIENCE COLLEGE FEE $130.00
ENGINEERING COLLEGE FEE $40.00
A & S FACIL./TECH COLLEGE FEE $91.00
ENGINEER FACIL./TECH COLL FEE $40.00
This son has the Presidential scholarship (full tuition); the Engineering scholarship ($2500 per year); and an outside scholarship from H's work ($2000 per year). Therefore, I can't really complain about the fees.
At first I wondered why he doesn't have an honors college fee, since he's in honors. But, then I realized that he isn't taking a UHP class this semester. He's taking a departmental honors class, instead.
I assume that older son's fees are similar.

I'm taking some graduate business classes in the near future, I'll be paying $227 for each of those classes in fees

SeaTide...yikes...grad level class fees! Well, I shouldn't be surprised. Grad classes always cost more money.
