college place apartments

is anybody familiar with college place apartments and would it be a good fit for an incoming freshman

I haven't lived there myself, but I have heard 2 girls talking about it on separate occasions. BTW, a lot of these "quasi dorms" are very similar...college place, campus crossings etc etc. I heard that the place is decent to live, but the managers are somewhat crappy and there's usually a party every single night even though the rules say that shouldn't happen. But, if these 2 girls (women, whatever) survived for a year, I'm sure you could as well.

From scouring apartment ratings near campus in general, it seems like all the highly rated complexes are far far away from UA (hey that rhymed!)

But, if you're bum on on-campus housing you really don't have much of a choice on such short notice.
