(Bio)chemistry majors, L&S vs. College of Chemistry

Basically, I am unsure of where I should pursue my major (I still have to finalize my major choice): the College of Chemistry or Letters and Science?

College of Chem offers undergrad degrees, B.S. in Chemistry and Chemical Biology

L&S offers BA in Chemistry and Biochem

What are the pros/cons?
Is the College of Chem have a better environment, ie. more chances of interaction w/ profs?
What about for someone who might want to go pre-med?
Are there differences in class sizes?
Does the Chem curriculum for L&S have more breadth/electives/humanities?

Unless you are 100% sure about doing chemistry as your major
(Yeah... Chem 1a/4a seems to drive people out of this department)
don't apply to college of chem. Not only is it harder, it will be pain in the ass to switch majors/colleges...
