hot water at Unit1

i'm at unit1 and the water here is usually never hot! i don't know if i take showers at the wrong times but i often switch between taking a shower in the morning and at night but it's the same.

do you guys get this too?

we should complain to the administration.

well...I'm not in Unit 1 so obviously I'm not sure...but I would say during the morning and at night are tbe bussiest (sp?) times. Try in the afternoon, some miday shower. plus, if you take it in the midday a cool shower is usually perfect...but that's just me.

Hope you get answers.

Well, if other people are taking a shower at the same time, expect that you won't get a lot of hot water. I remember when I was at Unit 1 last year and if I went at around 8ish pm, it was full and hot water would intermittently become cold and vice versa; it was pretty annoying. Go at around 10 p.m. and see if it's less crowded. That means more hot water for ya. Morning's not a great time - that's the most popular shower time.

No, the water is always hot at Unit 1 from my experience.

Which building do you live in?

i believe there is one water heater for every two floors in unit 1, so if you don't get hot water, other floors might still be getting it. i know that we had a hot water problem on the first and second floors of deutsch last year. we told our RA and he had to bug the maintenance people a lot until they finally fixed it.

I'm over in Nortion at Unit 3, and we NEVER get hot water, and it's usually freezing, literally, that cold. The upper floors get hot water, but my floor (two) is getting screwed.

I'm in Unit 1 and it's always fine for me. It probably varies by each individual building.
