I have a question about Financial Aid. I am eligible for Blue & Gold Opportunity Plan and my award summary at this time is about $3000. There are still about $3000 in my balance. Should I wait or pay the balance now? B&G Plan covers up to $10,302 in 2010-11 so how does that work? My total aid is $9400 for 2010-2011. I am a Spring 2011 Junior Transfer student.

Oh okay I have 1 year of art classes so I am fine. I'm a bit scatter-brained from a string of nearly all nighters. I thought it meant that you needed to have some sort of art credit as in like the classes you take to be in a play. Ahahaha, all this hard work better be worth it.

What are the admissions officers' opinions on students who show an upward trend?

Like when I was a freshman and sophomore, I got 2 B's every single semester, but as a junior, I got straight A's/ 5.0 both semesters.

Not to mention I took all honors/ MYP/ IB classes all four years and go to a pretty competitive school. I cared about school as an underclassmen, but I think I just sat down and got my priorities straightened out as a junior.

If I don't feel comfortable blazin out of my mind am I welcome. And what is Greek Life really because I'm under the impression that it's a bunch of drunk seniors who treat you like a 12 year old on Xbox and somehow it has to do with drinking... well that how media describes it haha

For anyone who's taken mcb 102 over the summer with urnov, what's your opinion? I want to take it so I can focus on that class only for summer but I hear bad things...

I've always wondered something, has anyone heard of someone getting reprimanded for downloading through AirBears? I have comcast internet at home and my dad always gets unnecessarily paranoid when he receives an infringement notice. Plus AirBears is faster, I think.

Applied to wrong major

How soon can we change our majors if we're accepted? The major I intended to apply to is still in the same college... L&S.

No matter what you wrote down as a major, everyone admitted into the College of Letters and Sciences (L&S) is admitted as 'undeclared' - you have roughly two years to figure out what you want to have as your major. No rush.

Does applying undeclared hurt my chances of being accepted?

@CaribbeanChild, that's a relief because I heard someone here say that UCB EECS majors have no life whatsoever. Kinda freaked me out, ha!
