No one cares, unless it's on the day of the Big Game.

I'm an incoming freshman, but maybe you'd find PickAProf and Campus Buddy helpful.

Just search for their classes, see what people have to say about them, grade distributions, etc.

^ Why would it matter? They don't look at AP scores in admissions...he just won't get AP credit.

Yes, Birdhouse you are right. I checked -- the 2 score doesn't show up on Bear Facts... I was fretting about nothing...

Does anyone know if professors release the books they'll teach for R&C classes before telebears? Out of curiosity, I checked the books for RCB classes I might take next year, and I've read a lot of the books they're teaching. I know the books will change next semester, but I don't really want to take a class and reread books. Thanks.

They generally stay the same each year the instructor teaches the course. You can look up syllabuses on the department website if you're lucky otherwise you can always look it up at the Cal Bookstore online. Often times, I've found that there are just readers instead of books.

QuixoticRick: Thanks for your help.

Another question: How can you apply a breadth to a certain class? For example, a class I'm taking can apply to Arts and Lit and Historical Studies. Would I be able to use the class for Arts/Lit instead of Historical (on my DARS report it's for Historical Studies). Thank you!

Arduous: Just take another course that qualifies for historical studies and it'll automatically change it to be arts and literature.
